Cute Night Lights

The bar for night lights used to be incredibly low. A small plastic thing you plugged into the wall. It glowed. That was it. Nobody expected it to look good, because it was hiding behind a door or tucked into a corner.

Then people started putting them on bedside tables and desks. Suddenly, looks mattered. A night light that sits in plain sight needs to be something you actually want to look at. Hence: cute night lights.

What makes one cute

It's partly the shape. Animals win here because they're inherently appealing — your brain likes looking at animal faces, even simplified ones. It's partly the material. Soft, squishy materials invite touch, which makes them feel more personal. And it's partly the light itself. A warm, diffused glow looks cosy. A harsh white LED looks clinical.

Where they work

Anywhere you want soft light and a bit of personality. Bedside tables. Kids' rooms. Desks. Bathrooms (for the 3am trip). Nurseries during night feeds. They're versatile precisely because they're small and portable.
